Your server address

Install a client

• Phone — Element X, from the App Store or Google Play.
• Computer — Element Desktop, from element.io/download.

Choose sign in, then enter the server address above when asked which homeserver to use.

Two things worth knowing

• Save your recovery key. Every conversation here is end-to-end encrypted. If you lose all your devices without it, your message history cannot be recovered by anyone — including whoever runs this server. That is the point, but it does mean the key matters.
• Prefer the apps over a browser. Browser clients cannot search encrypted history, and the desktop app can.
